Crafted by hand: the story behind our mirrors.

There’s a certain satisfaction in standing back and seeing a mirror come to life — not from a factory line, but from the hands of someone who’s been doing it for decades. At Mirrors.ie, we don’t just sell mirrors. We make them. We shape them. We frame them. And we finish every last one with a level of care that only comes from years of practice.

Our story started with framing. Before mirrors ever entered the picture, there was art and a deep appreciation for how it’s presented. Tom Walsh, our founder, began his journey in a small studio in Waterford, framing everything from paintings to keepsakes with precision and pride. It wasn’t long before interior designers came knocking, asking if that same eye for detail could be applied to mirrors. And the rest, as they say, is history.

We’re now one of Ireland’s leading mirror specialists, but the essence of what we do hasn’t changed. Every mirror we sell is either part of our hand-finished ready-made range, or custom-built to order using one of our carefully chosen frames. Some are sleek and modern, like the Malmo or Tallinn. Others are detailed and ornate, like the Versailles or Vienna. But they all have one thing in common: craftsmanship.

In fact, most of the mirrors we make go through up to five layers of finishing. It’s not a quick process, and that’s the point. No two are exactly alike, and that’s what makes them special.

So whether you’re buying online or walking into our showroom, what you’re seeing is the result of years of experience and a genuine love for what we do. You’re not just getting a mirror. You’re getting something made by hand, shaped by story, and built to last.
